Wisdom's House Rock Family is Jesus' House Jesus' Family.
Wisdom's House is a local church living out intentional new covenant community in Kansas City, Missouri, and are a part of a larger family of churches, Rock Tribe International.
God's highest wisdom begins with the cross and matures all believers into . . . "it."
Jesus prayed that we would live in it.
The Holy Spirit accomplished it.
The Five-fold are on the hook for it.
What is it?
Dwelling in Unity.
We seek to passionately dwell in intimate onness with God - Father, Son, & Spirit,
And all who are His,
So that the world will know Him.
As He broke the bread and prayed over the cup of wine, He proclaimed the New Covenant while
Jesus prayed this:
John 17:20 "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
The church was birthed and the earth saw the greatest miracle expression of the gospel of Jesus Christ: unity amongst brothers and sisters when
The Holy Spirit accomplished this:
Acts 2:42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common.
Act 4:32 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.
When Jesus ascended He left gifts of leadership on people to equip believers to be God's Family - church.
The Five-fold gifts are on the hook for this:
Eph 4:11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
Therfore we are compelled to equip all who desire this unity here at Wisdom's House Rock Family. The equipping process is for all who desire to begin to make the changes needed to live in "it." Unity expressed in new covenant love is the greatest evangelism tool heaven has to offer.
There is a relationship between the "House" the "City" and "Sons".
1 A song of ascents. Of Solomon.
Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.
2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3 Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.
4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.
5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the city gate.
Jesus, Son of David, said,
"Wisdom is known by her children."
Solomon, Son of David in Proverbs 9
Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out it's seven pillars.
(seven lamps of the Holy Spirit - the covenant Seal)
She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine, her table is set.
(the Table of the Lord - the covenant Table)
Solomon, Son of David in Proverbs 3:19 & 24:3
By wisdom the LORD created the heavens and the earth . . .
By wisdom a house is built . . .(the hypostasis of God at the beginning of His Work.)
One will come in the great and terrible day of the Lord to turn
the hearts of the fathers to the sons and sons to the fathers.
(the modern fathers to their sons and the modern church to the ancient fathers)
John the Baptist came to turn men's heart to Jesus . . .
turning the hearts of the fathers to the sons and
turning the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous.
